When AI can do half the job, what is left that only you can do?

Future CV

â–¶ Enter Project

Context

You are a junior in 2025, reflecting on the AI-powered work you just completed. Your job: name 3–4 skills you exercised that AI could not—judgment calls, domain sense, taste, the work of saying no—and map each to a week of the course. Your 2030 self will need these.

Mission

Draft a one-page CV of your 2030 self: 3–4 AI-resistant skills, each named clearly, each mapped to a course week, each grounded in a moment you made a call AI could not. This CV is a personal stake—not speculation, but a reflection artifact.

Finish Line

A one-page Future CV of your 2030 self — the skills you will own by the end of this course, drafted with AI, styled by hand. This CV becomes your evidence of personal stance formation for future lessons or portfolio reviews.

  • Scribe

You document each move and its reasoning.

    • Listen as your partner names a skill. Write it down in 1–2 words.
    • Ask: "Where in the course did you make that call?" Write the week.
    • Ask: "Show me the moment. What did AI get wrong?" Write the specific gap you filled.
    • Read it back: "So you own this because..." Refine until it is clear.
  • Skeptic

You test whether the skill is real or just borrowed.

    • When your partner names a skill, ask: "Could AI do this if it had 10 more seconds?"
    • Push: "Show me where you decided differently than the tool suggested. Why?"
    • Mark the moment: "That decision came from you, not the training data. Keep it."
    • If it sounds like automation, say so. Reframe it until it is your call.
  • Anchor

You hold the mirror—you represent your 2025 self before this week.

    • Before each reflection, ask: "What could not you do before this week?"
    • Listen to the skill draft. Say: "Did that version of you own this? Why or why not?"
    • After each skill lands, say: "In 2030, will this skill still matter?" Explain why.
    • Keep the reflection honest: push back on vague claims, celebrate clear calls.
