Context

A studio needs a 60–90s trailer rough cut by end of session. The footage is yours, the cue is locked, and every cut has to land on the beat — no excuses, no second pass.

Mission

Audition AI candidate cut-points and manually select the strongest ones, assemble a 60–90s trailer rough cut where every hard cut snaps to a marked beat-anchor, identify and revise any cuts that drift off-beat, and lock the arc with title and button bookends.

    • Lay the cue onto the timeline and sequence Runway clips so each shot-change lands on its marked anchor
    • Make the final frame-trim call on every hard cut — scrub at half speed and confirm each one sits ON the beat, not near it
    • Drive the export: confirm 1080p resolution, 60–90s length, audio levels intact, file named to spec in the drive

  • Rhythm Lead

    owns the beat-map

    • Pin every cut-anchor from the stage-2 map (hits, risers, whooshes, the BRAAAM) as visible timeline markers before clips start going down
    • Call out cuts that float off-beat in real time during assembly — if Act II rhythm is loose, flag it immediately so the Editor trims
    • Guard the arc: verify Act I sets tone, Act II builds rhythm, Act III hits hard, and the button snaps after the last beat

  • Title & Button

    owns the bookends

    • Design a title card that lands on a beat in Act I or the intro, then position it so the frame-change syncs to a musical hit
    • Build the final button after the last Act III hit — a clean snap, not a fade, that leaves a deliberate last impression
    • Audio-check the export before hand-in: play the full 60–90s cut and confirm no clipping, cue intact, and levels hot enough for a studio screening
