Challenge

  1. Challenge 01

Break "publish a 400-word news piece" into stages. Tag each AI / human / both, and prompt-engineer the handoff for one AI stage (what context, format, and constraints would you give it?).

  2. Challenge 02

A researcher has 50 scientific papers on climate tipping points. Decide which steps (summarize abstracts, extract the tipping-point threshold numbers, identify contradictions between papers, synthesize a consensus statement) should be AI-first, human-led, or both. For each, name one reason.

  3. Challenge 03

You're editing a documentary script on homelessness. Break the workflow into: research phase, draft phase, sensitivity review, final edit. For each, decide if an AI can do it solo, if it needs human sign-off, or if it should be human-only. Explain the risk you're guarding against in each case.

  4. Challenge 04

A marketing manager wants to A/B test email subject lines for a campaign. Break down: generate candidate lines, evaluate them against brand voice, test them with a sample audience, interpret the results. For each step, say whether AI should lead, human should lead, or both together.

  5. Challenge 05

You're building a job description for a software engineer role. The stages are: list required skills, define success metrics, review for gender/age bias, set salary range. Which stages are AI-safe, which need human judgment, and which need both? Give one reason for each classification.

  6. Challenge 06

A museum curator is cataloging 200 artifacts. The workflow: photograph each, write a label, research provenance, flag items needing ethical review. For each step, propose who should lead (AI or human) and name the cost of getting it wrong.

  7. Challenge 07

You're preparing a student report on a court case: gather case facts, summarize the ruling, explain the legal reasoning, evaluate whether the ruling was fair. Split this into AI and human steps. For the human steps, explain why judgment is required.

  8. Challenge 08

A content creator is producing a video essay on AI hype cycles. Steps: research recent AI announcements, find credible sources, select which claims to fact-check, write the script. For each, decide who leads and what failure looks like if you choose wrong.
