  2. Making Quiz Questions With ChatGPT

    • Build Notes To Questions Prompt Students paste their own notes into ChatGPT and tell it the exam's question styles so it drafts a set of quiz questions that match the test.
    • Worksheet Question Audit Checklist Students compare each AI-made question against the exam plan and cross out any that test nothing the exam actually covers.
    • Warm-up Question Quality Sort Students sort a pile of sample questions into recall, understand, and apply piles to see which thinking levels the exam wants.
  3. Building Your Browser Study Game

  4. Sitting the Timed Test

    • Warm-up Final Recall Warm-up Students play their own study game one last time to warm up their memory in the minutes right before the exam.
    • Quiz The Timed Exam Students sit the marked, timed test on the course platform on their own so it counts toward their grade.
    • Worksheet Exam Wrapper After the test students fill a short sheet on what they studied, how the game helped, and what they would revise differently next time.

Learners get the exam plan before the exam. It states the question types and the topics covered. Nothing outside topics 1.1 to 1.3 appears.
Building a test on a topic shows you understand the topic. Students share and play their revision games before they sit the exam paper.
Trying to remember something is a way of studying, not just a way of checking what you know. Testing yourself on material helps you remember it better than reading it again. This is called the testing effect.
One hour of revision works better split across several days than done all at once. This is called the spacing effect.
If remembering feels easy, you are recognising the answer, not remembering it. Making recall a bit harder, for example with a time limit, builds memory that lasts. This is called desirable difficulty.
