About this project
Week 3 · The final project. Every line below is quoted from the course brief, posted to the cohort's working channels while the work was being made.
Why the students made these
- The exercise.
your group will stand on stage and present what you have been working on. Your job is to 'sell' this idea to a team of imaginary investors.
#w3d5_the-final-sprint · 2026-07-17 - What had to land.
You need to make the class understand what you have made, why you have made it, why this is a perfect product and design for customers, and why this is going to be a business idea which could potentially scale to be something big.

What they were asked to get right
- Start from a real annoyance.
Write the annoyance people already have, not the one your idea needs them to have. Write what they do about it today. If the answer is "nothing", maybe they don't care.
#w3d1_business-model-canvas · 2026-07-13 - Name one specific customer.
Narrow it until you can picture one specific person. "Everyone" is not an answer. Name the early adopters: the people whose problem is bad enough that they'll tolerate a rough first version.
#w3d1_business-model-canvas · 2026-07-13 - Say it in one sentence.
One sentence a stranger understands in five seconds. Talk about their problem, not your features.

What the work practised
- Four roles, four questions.
Each role in your group will have to present. We have 4 pillars which will scaffold your presentation.
#w3d5_the-final-sprint · 2026-07-17 - Shipping before polishing.
Build something quickly, and release something quickly. MVP (Minimum viable product)
#w3d2_api · 2026-07-14 - Working from feedback.
Small steps + feedback = king
#w3d5_the-final-sprint · 2026-07-17 - Testing on real people.
Choose 6 people : diferent gender, city, age, etc.
#w3d2_api · 2026-07-14 - Breaking their own work.
